I’d been hearing about Pocket Letters for a couple of months now, but had no idea what they were until recently. Can we say New Obsession! It’s like pocket scrapbooking, but without the photos, and you swap them with others.
Pocket Letters were created by Janette Lane and her website, Pocket Letter Pals, is an online community where you can connect with other Pocket Letter enthusiasts and arrange swaps or just get inspiration. There’s also a Facebook group by the same name that I belong to and recommend.
Below are a few that I recently created to swap. The orange, mixed media style PL was one that I sent to Andrea Gomoll; I am so excited to receive hers!
Below is one that I recently received and ADORE! It was created by a new Pocket Letter Pal of mine, named Pola. Isn’t it just the cutest? She filled the back of pockets with a ton of Kawaii themed goodies for me to use and she even included 2 packet of miso soup! The Pocket Letter that I swapped with her is the first one pictured at the top of this post.
I’m currently available for a couple of one time swap pals, so if you’re interested, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s see if we can arrange a Pocket Letter swap.
Thanks for Looking and I wish you a beautiful rest of the week.
