Hello March – Planner Layout

It’s been a while since I’ve shared any planner layouts so I thought that the February kit from TPS was as good a reason as any.

The pretty color palette begged to be paired with my nude Filofax, so I reluctantly put away the gorgeous red Kikki K that I carried in February and got busy making this one equally as yummy for March.

As always, I used my handy dandy laminator to make a couple of dashboards and a scrap of that pretty paper made for a great washi card.

In total I made a dashboard and 4 tabbed dividers from the gorgeous paper that came in the kit.

I used some of the pretty stickers to decorate my daily inserts. There are a couple of versions of these in the free planner printables section of my blog. Be sure to check them out!

I use my planner as a life tool, not only to track appointments and to-dos, but also to help foster my goal of continued personal growth.

You may have read in some of my prior posts that I’m a huge proponent of CBT, or cognitive behavioral therapy.

If you’re unfamiliar with it, CBT focuses on techniques to help individuals challenge negative thinking patterns and beliefs and replace “errors in thinking such as overgeneralizing, magnifying negatives, minimizing positives and catastrophizing” with “more realistic and effective thoughts, thus decreasing emotional distress and self-defeating behavior”.2016-02-25 07.18.35

Because creating new thinking patterns is an ongoing process, I’ve dedicated a section in my daily planner to it. These are my custom CBT inserts made by Papier My Day on Etsy. I use them to address negative thinking and to work through whatever issue I may be grinding away on. I find it incredibly helpful to have a dedicated place to turn when I find myself struggling with an issue.

And finally, here’s a little trick that I use to prettify that odd area in the back of some of the Filofax planners. If I don’t have a notebook to slip into the slits… Pretty paper to the rescue! I just measure, crease, and tuck it right in. Instant pretty!

As always, thank you for reading and I wish you a beautiful week.

xo,

Belen
