Celebrating My Everday

All too often we celebrate the more significant things in life, the special occasions, and forget to celebrate the everyday.
Running errands, time spent reading, hanging out with our loved ones or even just time spent applying a dead sea mud mask. These moments are the bulk of our lives, the precious every day things that can all too easily slip by unnoticed until something big happens to shake us up.

For the month of July, I’ve made a personal commitment to #CelebrateMyEveryday. To stop and take notice of all the moments that make up my life.

There are no rules. I may art on my page, I may not. I may jot down just a few lines or I may document enough to fill up a page or two. How much I write isn’t important. How pretty my art is, isn’t important. What’s important is to #CelebrateMyEverday and I’m so excited about this month.

I’ll be documenting my everyday in this Compendium Write Now Journal and using my Polaroid Zip Printer to add some photos of my daily life, yes even something as mundane as me in a dead sea mud mask!

This is so uncanny! Way back in December (I think it was), I left a comment on one of your YouTube videos where you showed the various planners you tried, liked, didn’t like and transformed for multiple uses. It has been an interesting journey thus far and this post is part of what I settled into! For the “Ooh! Wow! This is so functional & creative!”, I stuck with The Happy Planner. But it just wasn’t what I needed to actually capture my daily thoughts and delve deeper into each day. To fulfill that much needed void. I purchased lined little notebooks as you show above at a $1 store used some cardstock I had to give the covers a facelift. I’m sure you’ve seen Webster’s Pages new traveler’s journals. While they are quite beautiful, and seems we aren’t the only one’s who want to also journal in this manner, they only included 4 extra bands. Its a pity realy. These journals contain deeply personal thoughts & feelings for me and had been looking for a way store them from prying eyes. Example: my son’s SO will just grab my Happy Planner and start flipping through it. The last time thy were here I was in bed with a migraine and was never more thankful to have my planner & journals upstairs with me. If you ever get to a place of needing to creatively storing more than one, please post about how you do it!
